First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an experienced Systems Analyst III to join our IT Infrastructure Department - Server team. The System Analyst III is responsible for designing, implementing, enhancing, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure systems/applications.  Provides production support and assists in developing and executing strategic roadmaps with focus on server administration and management of associated infrastructure systems/applications (e.g. Physical Servers, Virtual Server Hosts/Storage, VMWare, Backup Systems).  Systems/applications supported may also include but are not limited to Email, virtual desktop infrastructure, network systems, cloud computing, backup systems and security systems. Leads and coordinates work amongst other IT Division resources. Mentor others on the Infrastructure Team to develop individual skills, knowledge and capabilities.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (hours may vary)

Compensation:

The annual salary range for this role is: $90,000 - $112,000 per year; commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related, or an equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience
  • 7 years’ experience in Information Technology field supporting and maintaining infrastructure/applications.
  • 5 years of experience with managing and supporting server/storage systems.

• • Professional certifications in technology from vendors such as Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, and/or related, or equivalent work experience with technology from these vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement and troubleshoot complex server hardware and operating systems
  • In-depth experience with systems administration and data management
  • Working knowledge with network infrastructure components, including hardware and security tools
  • In-depth experience with virtualization solutions
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with management and end-users
  • Working knowledge of information security and how it relates to management of infrastructure
  • Proficient with system monitoring tools such as WhatsUpGold or Solarwinds
  • Ability to implement process improvements through automation
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage Projects
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in providing either direct or indirect leadership to other technical team members through coaching and mentoring
  • Familiar with legal and technical issues involving vendor contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated initiative when identifying needs or issues
