First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join our team in Controller’s Division team. This role serves as the primary system administrator responsible for handling all technical support for applications for Controller’s Division, Treasury & Investment, EOS-Wire Transfer, Purchasing, Supply, and Corporate Compliance Division. Performs all parts of the system development (including Web application) and implementation process.
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (hours may vary)
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this role is: $56,000 - $68,500 per year; commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology-related field, or equivalent experiencerequired
- Experience with SQL and related Client/Server technologies required
- 2 years of experience in programming, data processing, management information systems or a related field required
- Working knowledge of computer hardware, local area networks and communication preferred
- Working knowledge of Windows, Dbase (or compatible)
- Knowledge of at least one other computer language such as Java and C
- Basic knowledge of HTML, ASP and ASP.NET website programming
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requests to completion in a timely manner with quality results Must have strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
- Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow-through
- Ability to build relationships, and communicate effectively with stakeholders, business units, vendors and teammates to foster a collaborative work evironment
- Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative when identifying needs or issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
