What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice STNA position at First Health Hospice and Palliative Care?

Responsibilities include:
- Performing duties as outlined in the plan of care. Which may include duties such as bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding and ambulation of patients.
- Maintaining a safe patient environment.
- Providing emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families.
- Maintaining current patient records and progress notes. Effectively communicating any updates and changes to patients status to the case manager.
Requirements for this position include:
- Current STNA certification.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb balance, kneel and crouch.
