What are the responsibilities and job description for the Closing Coordinator position at First Heritage Mortgage?
Overview
The Closing Coordinator will be a self-motivated professional with strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. This position works closely with all members of the loan officer team, internal stakeholders, and outside vendors to complete the loan transaction.
Duties
- Manage an efficient pipeline for accurate scheduling of loans.
- Monitor Scheduling email accounts to ensure all loans are scheduled as requested.
- Update Scheduled Closing Dates as requested by the Loan Team.
- Prepare and send title requests and required documentation to Settlement Agents in a timely manner.
- Confirm receipt of title request with Settlement Agents.
- Order COI on files as requested.
- Assist with other Closing projects as requested.
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in the mortgage or real estate industry, with a focus on the following skills:
- Prefer working knowledge of Encompass loan origination system.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of operations mortgage experience.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet or exceed deadlines.
- Willingness to attend training and learn updated procedures as required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent research abilities.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Superior customer service skills a must.
- Strong ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to think critically and respond to the time-sensitive needs of the client.
- Initiative, drive, self-motivation, good judgement, and commitment to assuming roles of increasing responsibility.
- Experience with MS Office

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
