Intern - Enterprise Data Management

Location:On site at location listed in job posting.

Internship Program Duration: 10 Weeks: June 2, 2025 - August 8, 2025, M-F 8am-5pm ET

Pay: $20 per hour

Our 10-week internship offers a comprehensive and immersive experience for students interested in gaining practical knowledge and skills in the banking industry. Each week, you will be exposed to different leaders and aspects of the line of business. You will have the opportunity to complete tasks that will help you understand the day-to-day operations of a bank and develop a well-rounded skillset. Additionally, you will have the chance to receive guidance from experienced professionals in the field, participate in meetings, and network with other interns and associates. By the end of the 10 weeks, you will have gained valuable insights, built a solid foundation in banking practices, and potentially set the stage for future career opportunities at First Horizon.

Work schedule and number of hours worked weekly (minimum: 15- 25 Hours) are flexible, within normal business hours.     

The Intern will learn and assist with the day-to-day duties of the Enterprise Data Management members, including:

• The incumbent will play a key role transforming data into information enabling business partners to apply actionable insights for understanding and improving business performance.
• Support business unit navigation of enterprise data environment and report portfolio.
• Execute routine data and reporting processes for business and reporting analytic functions in the organization.
• Partner with a Senior Analysts to capture and document business requirements from end to end business functions to support business relevant information solutions.
• Profile data to ensure complete and accurate requirements. 

Qualifications: 

• Full-time undergraduate student with anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026
• GPA of 2.75 or above 
• Strong interest in business, finance, data, and analytics, though no specific major is required. 
• Resourcefulness, team-orientation, enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit
• Demonstrated leadership and self-development (work, campus) 
• Ability to interface and network with people at all levels of the organization. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills 
•  Strategic and critical thinking skills 

Computer and Office Equipment Skills:

•  Microsoft Office Suite
•  Other technical products in use (experience is not required, but intern may be exposed to the following tools during tenure):
  •  SAS/SAS Enterprise Guide
  •  Power BI
  •  Alteryx
  •  Advanced Excel: Macros, Power Pivot, etc.
