What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - Real Estate Trust position at First Horizon?
Location: On site at location listed in job posting.
Internship Program Duration: 10 Weeks – June 2, 2024 - August 8, 2025
Work schedule and number of hours worked weekly (40 Hours) are flexible, within normal business hours.
The Intern will learn and assist with the day-to-day duties of the Trust members, including:
- Assist with monthly review process for properties held in trust
- Assist with filing all trust property documents
- Assist with annual property inspections
- Procure property information when needed including taxes, insurance, appraisals, surveys, deeds etc.
- Assist with lease documentation on all properties
- Assist with income analysis for income producing properties
- Update and prepare farm reports
- Field customer inquiries and schedule maintenance services
Qualifications:
• Full-time student undergraduate student with anticipated graduation date between December 2024 - June 2025
• GPA of 2.75 or above
• Strong interest in business and finance, though no specific major is required.
• Resourcefulness, team-orientation, enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit
• Demonstrated leadership and self-development (work, campus)
• Ability to interface and network with people at all levels of the organization.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strategic and critical thinking skills
Computer and Office Equipment Skills:
• Microsoft Office Suite
