Summary
Assistant Portfolio Manager at Registered Investment Adviser with $1.5 billion in AUM
Responsibilities
- Assist in equity and fixed income research and portfolio management for the firm’s investment strategies
- Serve as the assistant portfolio manager for clients: helping establish investment objectives, managing the client investment portfolio, providing regular reporting, and conducting client meeting and reviews.
- Assist with new account onboarding process
- Oversee proxy voting for firm’s clients
- Assist in business development opportunities: Completing RFPs, presentations, and developing relationships with prospective clients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma Required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- One to Five years of direct experience in investments
- Considerable knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area
- In-depth understanding and practical application of state statutes, laws and federal regulations
- Excellent organizational, and project management skills
- Well-developed customer relations skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
