Location: On site in Raleigh, NC, Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC or Memphis, TN.
SUMMARY:
As a Product Owner Open Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our API strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative API solutions that meet the evolving needs of our retail and commercial banking customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product vision, roadmap, and strategy, while fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive API product strategy aligned with the overall business objectives of our retail and commercial banking segment.
- API Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire API lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing management.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, partners, and customers.
- Product Roadmap: Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on market insights, customer feedback, and business goals.
- API Monetization: Explore and implement strategies for monetizing APIs, such as subscription models, usage-based pricing, or partner integrations.
- Documentation and Support: Ensure comprehensive API documentation and support to enable seamless developer adoption and integration.
- Metrics and Analytics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure API success and identify areas for improvement.
- Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and explore new opportunities to leverage APIs to enhance our products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on APIs or digital products.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing API products.
- Deep understanding of API development, design, and integration best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Familiarity with banking industry trends and regulations is a plus.
- Experience with Open Banking, Open Finance, and FDX standards is preferred.
