Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in bussing tables by clearing dishes, utensils, and debris promptly after guests finish their meals.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and address any needs that arise.
- Support food handling operations by preparing items as directed and assisting with catering events when necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain high standards of cleanliness in the food service area.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling practices, and bussing procedures is a plus.
