Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system or similar software.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food preparation or ingredients.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and dining areas according to food safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely meal preparation.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed during peak hours or when the kitchen is busy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests positively.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• A passion for sales and upselling menu items to enhance guest experiences is highly valued.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.83 - $14.08 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
