Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Compliance to lead our compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to regulatory standards within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HUD, Sections 8, Tax Credit, and Home, housing regulations, and compliance management. This role requires strong management skills and the ability to oversee compliance related to Affordable Housing Industry. The Director of Compliance will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our Tenant Files while ensuring that all operations align with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs that adhere to HUD regulations and other relevant guidelines.
- Manage compliance for all aspects of Affordable Housing, ensuring that all practices align with regulatory expectations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in compliance practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters, fostering an understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry standards, adapting compliance strategies accordingly.
Experience
- Proven experience in a compliance management role within the Affordable Housing Industry.
- Strong knowledge of HUD, Section 8, Rd, Tax Credit and Home program regulations.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
