Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the highest level of service and care throughout their treatment journey. This position involves managing patient interactions, verifying insurance, and calculating treatment plans to present to patients. The Treatment Coordinator will serve as a vital link between patients and providers, ensuring that care plans are effectively communicated and implemented.
Duties
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to treatment.
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering phone calls.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients.
- Coordinate appointments and follow-up visits, ensuring timely access to care.
- Support office management tasks, including scheduling patients, processing end of day and occasionally collecting office fees.
Requirements
- Proven experience in treatment coordinating or a similar role within a dental field.
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification processes and dental documentation review.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and data protection.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- Knowledge of Curve Hero, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is preferred.
