The salary range for this position is $62,250 - $70,031. New hires typically start within this range based on their qualifications, experience, and considerations of internal equity.
Who You Are
You are an experienced Evaluation Analyst who is passionate about youth development and STEM learning and is someone who enjoys playing a critical role in fostering a culture of learning and data driven decision making. With Gracious Professionalism® our ideal candidate will support evaluation activities and monitor outcomes, key performance indicators, and progress towards organizational goals.
This role has the ability to be a remote working arrangement for the right candidate.

What You Will Do
Implement all evaluation plan activities including planning, instrument development, data collection, data management, analysis, and reporting. Additionally, you will:
- Apply a culturally relevant and equitable framework to evaluation, data analytics and reporting.
- Work across programs and departments to develop and implement evaluation plans including annual program delivery evaluation and performance, pilots, and special projects.
- Provide summaries of insights to departments requiring information for sponsors, grant reporting, marketing tactics, and other needs.
- Support projects that inform strategic learning, key performance indicators, and organizational goals.
- Summarize analytic conclusions and recommendations in written reports, data visualizations, and/or presentations.
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure evaluation and data collection efforts meet the needs of the organization.
- Represent FIRST Research & Evaluation team on various projects, committees, and working groups.
What We Expect
A knowledgeable evaluation analyst professional well versed in data analysis methods and visual communications. We are also seeking candidates with the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Typically requires a BS/BA in related discipline and generally requires at least 2 years of directly related experience.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong experience with data management including data cleaning, coding, evaluating data quality, and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Experience conducting a program evaluation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient with MS Office products, especially Excel.
- Knowledgeable with web-based survey systems.
- SPSS or other data analysis software helpful.
- Strong sense of accountability, personal initiative, and responsibility.
- Flexibility to travel 5 - 10%
