What are the responsibilities and job description for the FinTech BSA/AML Oversight Manager position at First Internet Bank?
About the Position:
As the FinTech BSA (Bank Secrecy Act)/AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Oversight Manager you will work closely with the Vice President, BSA/AML & Fraud Operations to conduct initial and ongoing Due Diligence reviews of existing and prospective FinTech Partners BSA, AML, OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) and Fraud Programs. In addition, you will conduct periodic FinTech Partner risk assessments, along with ensuring compliance with all federal laws and regulations. You will also serve as a subject matter expert for the First Internet Banks FinTech Partners, BaaS (Banking as a Service) Committee, and BSA/AML analyst team.
What You Will Do:
- Review prospective, new and existing FinTech Partners BSA/AML/OFAC/Fraud Programs to ensure programs satisfy regulatory expectations and align with First Internet Bank of Indianas risk appetite.
- Identify, track, and follow up on FinTech Partners BSA/AML/OFAC and Fraud remediation.
- Clearly articulate any identified issues/opportunities for improvement, including proposed solutions.
- Stay current on industry trends related to BSA/AML/OFAC, and Fraud-related agency guidance.
- Contribute to documentation of processes, procedures and training materials.
- Communicate cross-functionally with all levels of the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree preferred; Commensurate work experience also considered
- A minimum of three years of BSA/AML experience at a financial institution and/or regulatory agency
- Experience analyzing BSA/AML regulations and summarizing conclusions
- Understanding of AML software and technologies
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Exceptional organization and prioritization abilities while handling multiple tasks with competing deadlines
Working Conditions/Demands:
- Professional office setting.
- Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
- Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
