SBA Process Improvement and Reporting Manager

About the Position:

As the Small Business Administration (SBA) Process Improvement and Reporting Manager, you will identify and implement projects that improve processes to support the SBA department’s strategic business objectives and goals. You will work collaboratively across multiple departments to evaluate need and/or opportunity via data analytics and serve as lead in approved process improvement projects, seeing projects through to completion.

What You Will Do:

• Actively participate in research, preparation and execution of internal process controls 
• Coordinate with SBA leaders and staff to identify, recommend and implement processes that increase productivity and efficiency across all departments within SBA
• Maintain internal process manuals in conjunction with various SBA Team Leads and Managers
• Serve as a subject matter expert on the various SBA systems and provide enhancements, data analytics and reporting to concerned parties
• Serve as the SBA department’s liaison to IT by partnering with the Product Team and other IT related initiatives surrounding systems including, but not limited to, nCino, PCFS, and more
• Work in conjunction with HR to develop communications, change management and training plans/ materials to ensure employees understand their role, including responsibilities, scope, and processes to ensure sustainable growth and scalability
• Regularly evaluate and measure outcomes of current business processes and improvements based on change and/or the return on investment of recommended changes
• Work on ad hoc projects as assigned by SBA and Bank Management

What We’re Looking For:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, project management, engineering, accounting, or related field required
• Project management skills in a cross functional team including leading a cross-functional team and communicating across all levels of organization
• Understanding of process flows with specific familiarity in lean and change management methodologies such as Agile SCRUM and PROSCI a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Proficient with personal computers, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word applications
• Familiarity with a visual analytics platform such as Tableau, Power BI, etc. a plus
• Knowledge or proficiency with nCino and/or PCFS is a plus
• Previous knowledge and/or experience in the SBA Lending Program highly desired, but not required

Working Conditions/Demands:

• Professional office setting.
• Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
• Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
