About the Job
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients. As a Teller I, you will be responsible for providing daily teller transactions in both the lobby and drive-up locations of the branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer account services by receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, issuing savings withdrawals, recording night and mail deposits, and selling cashier's checks, traveler's checks, and savings bonds.
- Answer customer inquiries in person and/or on the telephone, ensuring that all questions are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Record customer account transactions by logging cashier checks, traveler's checks, and other special services; preparing currency transaction reports.
- Cross-sell bank products by answering inquiries, informing customers of new services and product promotions, ascertaining customer needs, and directing customers to a branch representative.
