Position Title: HRBP
Reports To: Director of HR
Position Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our child day care operations. The HRBP will play a strategic role in shaping HR policies, employee relations, talent acquisition, and workforce development while ensuring compliance with childcare regulations and labor laws. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and a passion for creating a supportive workplace for childcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention of childcare staff.
- Establishes professional rapport with staff to increase staff engagement and retention
- Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, licensing requirements, and workplace safety.
- Assist in development and implementation HR policies, training programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Support benefits administration, payroll processes, and employee well-being programs.
- Assist with various special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources or related field, OR 3 years of HR experience, preferably in childcare, education, or healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and employee relations.
- HR certification is a plus.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field while effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling highly sensitive information.
- Computer literate, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, as well as a high level of initiative in keeping current with technological change. Willingness to expand computer skills as requested.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
