COURIER DRIVER

Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Courier Driver to support our litigation support company. This role involves transporting legal documents, court filings, and other items to various locations, including courts, law firms, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a courier and court-runner, ensuring timely and secure document deliveries.
• Follow strict delivery protocols to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
• Utilize GPS and navigation tools to optimize routes and avoid delays.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, courts, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company delivery policies.

Requirements

• Reliable, working vehicle and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of local roads, shortcuts, and traffic patterns.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in a similar role or industry (legal, logistics, or court-related experience preferred).
• Ability to lift and transport legal documents and packages as needed.
• This is not a flexible driving position like Uber/Lyft—scheduled deliveries must be met.
• Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of sitting, walking, lifting, and moving documents and boxes.
• Prolonged periods of driving in a vehicle. 
• Must be able to lift and carry boxes up to 25 lbs.
• You may use a dolly to help with delivering large boxes.

 Travel 

• 95% of travel is required for client pick-up and deliveries to various locations.
• 5% in the office
