What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Support Specialist position at First Legal Network LLC?
Position Summary:
The Sales Support role is dedicated to helping our Depo Salespersons perform their best by providing education, taking on administrative tasks, researching active and potential cases and firms, collecting information, solving complex problems, and communicating with clients when necessary. They do this by combining their natural talents, training and education, problem-solving skills, and institutional knowledge of the legal industry and First Legal Depositions.
Must reside in Santa Ana area.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, administration, or related field preferred
- 3 years of experience working at a law firm or in legal services industry (preferably deposition related)
- Champion for exceptional customer service in providing business solutions to anticipate and meet client base needs
- A commitment to excellence and to making a difference; results-driven, improvement focused, and action-oriented self-starter who can handle various responsibilities simultaneously and proactively and continually look for a better way of doing things
Job Duties:

- Utilize CourtLink (or a similar product) to provide case, firm and attorney research to Sales
- Review daily dockets through alerts set up on firms or corporations and track potential cases
- Perform pre-meeting client lookups upon request for a client or firm before Sales meets with the client
- Review filings for new cases that are likely to be complex cases based on case caption information, court venue, etc.
- Responsible for the “New Cases Case Management” checklist for all new cases
- Attend industry-related functions to explore networking opportunities and gain enhanced product knowledge
- Maintain high-level confidentiality with regards to all internal, external matters and other material as deemed necessary
- Review “Newly Active Dormant Cases” for Case Management Accuracy
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record (3 points or less)
- Valid Auto Insurance - checked quarterly

- Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
