Job Description:
This position is responsible for analyzing complex companies and industries and presenting findings to Bank and/or Board Loan Committee. Functions include: conducting complex credit investigations and analyzing diverse credit information for loans; analyzing/formalizing documentation of loan transactions and/or credit history of customers; assisting in preparation of credit memorandums for presentation to lending officers and/or approval committees; performing research/analysis related to projects such as industry or market studies. This position reports to the SVP Senior Credit Officer.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties
- Review and analyze personal and business financial statements and tax returns to determine financial condition of borrower
- Generate financial ratios, using computer programs, to evaluate customers’ financial status
- Scrutinize financial data such as income growth, management quality, and market share
- Compile reports regarding finance and credit data
- Compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of individual or company being evaluated with similar establishments to determine risk
- Monitor Loan Covenants to ensure compliance
- Monitor and analyze on-going financial information to access any deterioration in credit
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned

Three years loan experience, preferably as a credit analyst reviewing commercial credits

A degree in finance, accounting, or business
