The Treasury Management Sales Associate is responsible for developing new depository business relationships with businesses and the professionals that are engaged in running those businesses; providing a superior level of customer service and developing and growing personal relationships with those professionals; and ensuring compliance with Bank policies and procedures. The position of TMSA is responsible for attaining established individual, department and Bank wide goals through active participation in sales management and officer calling programs. This position reports to the Chief Treasury Officer.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties:
- Reinforces the application of superior customer service through his or her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees. Work hand in hand with Lending Officers to grow Deposits and also build a "book of business" from own personal contacts and referrals in the community.
- Engages in business development activities and solicitation of new business prospects; participates in community affairs, business and service organizations, including public speaking; actively involved in instilling and maintaining a positive sales environment through education of the Bank's products and services; investigates and follows-up on significant changes in status of existing customers; meets with customers to discuss needs and outline appropriate Bank services and to resolve problems as necessary.
- Contributes to the overall profitability of the Bank; assists in the implementation of costs controls, income generation, and department marketing efforts.
- Assists other officers in resolving inquiries and providing support; participates in various internal committees assigned by senior management.
- Ensures implementation and compliance to meet security precautions and protect customer deposits, bank assets and staff.
- Responds to inquiries or refers inquiries to the appropriate department or person, and exhibits the necessary follow through with customers and/or staff involved.
- Complete all new sales documentation requirements within the policy I procedural outlines, and not have exceptions to these requirements. Follow strict CIP requirements.
- Open and close deposit accounts for customers
- Perform account maintenance and provide solutions to customer service related inquiries
- Work with Client Services team to facilitate set-up, installation and implementation for Treasury Management products and services
- Grow accounts through cross-selling, networking and other outside sales activities
- Knowledgeable on all deposit products and services including promotional products
- Contribute to branch and bank goals by promoting the bank's products and services
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned

Desired Skills/Qualifications:
- Two years of prior banking experience
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- High School Diploma
