Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. This role requires a nurturing attitude, patience, and the ability to perform various caregiving tasks effectively.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals.
- Help clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring them safely when necessary.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Engage clients in memory care activities to stimulate cognitive function.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Support clients with home health needs, including meal preparation and grocery shopping.
Experience
- Previous experience in senior care, home care, or memory care is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with CPR techniques and first aid is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for client mobility assistance.
- Understanding of dementia care practices is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.
