We are looking for an engaging Retail Lead to join the team and create a welcoming, professional, and clean environment for our guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing amazing guest service and brings a warm and positive attitude to the Retail team. The Retail Lead engages with guests and staff throughout their shift, which requires the ability to provide direction as well as attentive, caring guest service. The Lead is responsible for a variety of tasks that help support the General Store workflow by working with and supporting the retail team. Lead also play a key role in engaging with our guests and enriching the guests experience. Ideal candidates have been top performers in their previous roles and are excited to help make a place like the Lodges even more special and memorable for our guests.
Essential functions/Key Responsibilities

Work to create a safe environment to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
When finding unsafe conditions and maintenance concerns, address them immediately by contacting others as needed and/or submitting Maintenance Service Requests
Assist in training all retail staff on POS, cash handling, espresso machine use and maintenance, stocking, merchandising, receiving merchandise, cleaning, daily duties and guest interactions.
Identify and communicate to the Retail Manager and Retail Assistant Manager the needs of the business and if stock levels are low in any areas
Acquire current product knowledge to share with guests
Create a positive and productive work environment
Create forms of communication that encourage teamwork and accountability.
When opportunities arise, support interns in our Internship Program to help them
be most successful in their work and at the lodge
Assist with other lodge needs as may arise from time to time

Prior supervisory experience preferred
California Food Handlers Certification required

40 hours of paid time off per year
