Job Summary
First Look Custom Design & Landscape is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, including lawn care, tree care, and hardscape installation. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Maintain existing landscapes through regular lawn care practices including mowing, line trimming, and garden bed care.
- Carry out tree/shrub pruning to promote healthy growth and maintain aesthetics.
- Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Dig trenches for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Build and install landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers safely and effectively.
- Must be able to hook up, detach, and drive a trailer.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail in maintaining high-quality standards in all landscaping tasks.
- Knowledge on equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Knowledge of plant types, growth habits, and care requirements is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
