Job Description: Director of Finance and Administration
Purpose:
The Director of Finance and Administration oversees the FLC financial climate, daily operations, facility/office management, and HR of the congregation in a manner that is supportive of the organizational vision of First Lutheran.
Essential Functions:
· Collaborate with Lead Pastors in setting and driving organizational vision, strategy, and hiring levels.
· Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, performance management, and annual operations planning in the three areas of facility, finance, and HR.
· Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, salary and benefits review, and retention of all employees.
· Ensure accounting records are maintained, financial forecasting, and lead and prepare the church budget along with the Annual Meeting.
· Ensure appropriate research and evaluation of all financial commitments and service contracts.
· Coordinate and monitor purchasing and inventorying of equipment, furniture, supplies and other items.
· Supervise support staff personnel in the following areas: facility manager, finance manager, kitchen manager, guest service and security.
