Job Summary:
The Patient Support Specialist is responsible for assisting patients by verifying their information, processing returns, placing orders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer patient calls and provide support for inquiries.
- Verify patient information and insurance details for order processing.
- Process returns and address related concerns.
- Place and track patient orders for medical equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare or DME.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and order processing.
