Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of the accounting systems.
- Maintain proper records in order to give sound information on operating and capital expenditures.
- Monitor accounting and control policies and coordinate with other departments.
- Maintain general books.
- Continually update internal reports and recordkeeping for decision-making and expense control through detailed internal reporting.
- Assist with quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Q and 10-K and earnings release.
- In addition to the above, individual Accounting Managers will be responsible for one of the following:
- Accounting Manager
- Investment Accounting
- Coordinate purchase/sale activities with Treasury Department.
- Review and manage staff accountants’ activity as it relates to daily investment accounting activities.
- Preparation and review of SEC disclosures related to the investment portfolio.
- Accounting Manager
- Accounts Payable
- System Administrator for Accounts Payable system (Prologue)
- Supervise Accounts Payable Staff includes evaluating, performance, recommending salary adjustments, promotions, discipline and career changes.
- Manage processes and controls for Accounts Payable to ensure proper and timely payment of vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management or related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of related accounting or financial experience, including at least one in a lead capacity.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
