What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Administrator II position at First Mid-Illinois Bancshares?
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Delivers outstanding customer service at all times, including proactively anticipating customer needs, maintain frequent and professional customer communication and responding quickly to service requests.
May manage or supervise other team members.
May lead departmental or divisional initiatives on permanent or ad hoc basis.
Maintains high degree of technical competence and industry / market expertise.
Maintains policy expiration list to insure timely renewal and delivery of policies.
Monitors accounts receivable balances on assigned accounts.
Cross-sell insurance and bank services in a professional manner.
Complete required training associated with job function.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications Education :
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and two years’ experience in insurance preferred or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial insurance.
Experience :
Both an Illinois Insurance Producers license and a valid Illinois Drivers license are required
Prior work with Excel, Word and related software is required.
Skills :
Thorough knowledge of insurance products and coverages.
Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and thoroughness, with special emphasis on meeting deadlines.
High level of organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work respectively with diverse populations both internally and externally.
Ability to empathize with customers and to respond appropriately.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis in Excel.
Thorough knowledge of Accord forms.
May be required to work earlier or later than the normal workday.
Must maintain an Illinois Producers license and a valid Illinois driver’s license.
