What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retirement Services Intern position at First Mid-Illinois Bancshares?

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Gain experience working in a professional environment.
Learn how to strategize / problem-solve in a team environment to help clients achieve financial goals.
Experience what it is to play a critical role in promoting client loyalty and a great client experience.
Develop relationships with potential mentors, who are leaders in the wealth management field.
Works closely with various members of the firm’s Wealth Management team.
Provide service support to Retirement Services department and associated financial advisors.
Assist staff in the Wealth Management areas relating to administrative duties and resolving customer questions.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by manager.

Qualifications Education / Experience :

Enrolled college student pursuing a degree in business, accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, or related area.

Skills :

Proficient in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Excel and formulas.

Cooperative spirit and drive, but with an ability to work independently but also in a team.

Ability to multi-task and perform under strict deadlines.

Must be able to work with a significant amount of detailed information in an accurate, timely, and confidential manner.

High level of interpersonal skills to interact with customers and prospects in a professional manner.

Ability to navigate numerous websites, platforms, and software technologies with ease.
