Description : Description
Essential Functions :
Provide administrative support by arranging appointment schedule; assisting with loan applications; obtaining credit reports; closing loans with the customer; filing for recordation title and UCC liens; providing completed documentation to loan administration department and assist with RE modification worksheets.
Answer main loan phone line to assist customer and transfer as needed to appropriate staff.
Type loan officer correspondence, credit denials, and departmental reports as required.
Prepare, record and process consumer and residential loan-related collection items.
Process approved RLOC and interim construction draws and pay downs.
Prepare past due letters for consumer and residential loans.
Assist customers and other departments as required with inquiries, requests for amortization schedules, auto-debit, fax, notary services, wire transfers and blue book values.
Assist with collection of financial statements, income tax returns, insurance, rent rolls and paid property tax receipts on non escrowed loans. Maintain credit tracking system and file all updated documents in appropriate place or scan the loan documents to our imaging system.
Maintain loan addresses and contact information for consumer and residential loans.
Maintain good knowledge of all bank services so as to identify additional customer needs and / or respond to inquiries, making proper referrals when appropriate.
Stay abreast of changes in the banking field through self-study and both in-house and outside opportunities for continued education and training.
Bank Secrecy Act Duties :
In the performance of respective tasks and duties, this position must maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other regulatory, security, and Bank policies and procedures.
Company Conformance :
In compliance with all applicable regulations and Bank policies, this position is expected to successfully produce quality work within deadlines, with or without supervision; interact professionally with other employees, customers, and vendors, while always respecting the need for confidentiality of customer information. The employee will work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments and work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. Furthermore, the employee is encouraged to actively represent the Bank to customers and the general public in ways that promote the integrity, validity, and mission of the Bank by participating in community organizations, events, and activities. The employee is also expected to maintain a commitment to continuing education in the banking field through self-study and both in-house and outside training opportunities in all applicable banking policies, procedures, and regulations.
Regular and punctual attendance is expected, and appropriate attire is required at all times, while either performing job functions or representing the Bank at outside events and activities.
Requirements :
Required Minimum Qualifications :
High school graduation or equivalent.
Two years of experience in a customer service position.
Preferred Qualifications :
Two years of experience in real estate or financial service.
Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities :
Basic knowledge and understanding of loan documentation and interest calculation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent telephone skills.
Ability to comprehend and follow written procedures and regulations.
Good basic math and typing skills.
Ability to use bank equipment and computer system including PC applications using spreadsheet, word processing and database software
