The Commercial Account Specialist is an essential member of the Bank, helping it to run smoothly while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our customers and communities. - Providing an extraordinary customer experience through administrative assistance and secretarial support to the Commercial Officer(s) and acting as a liaison with Loan Servicing, Credit and other areas throughout the Bank.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Preparing loan documentation timely and accurately for loan closings and assisting with other loan documentation such as Credit Request Memorandums.
- Organizing information for timely financial reviews, covenant compliance tracking, and reporting. Contacting customers proactively for updated financials and any other documentation that may be required to complete periodic reviews.
- Interacting with builders and developers to schedule draws for work completed on commercial and residential development and construction projects, coordinating with the Construction Loan Associate on title updates and obtaining draw endorsements and maintains and updates draw files.
- Maintaining collateral documentation, sending follow up letters to customers for missing collateral documentation, researching UCC filings, and processing UCC filings and UCC continuation statements as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and bank policies and procedures. This includes staying abreast of new rules, regulations, and procedures to assist in implementation and revision of current policies and procedures.

What will you need?
- High school diploma or equivalency. Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus
- Knowledge of loan procedures and loan documentation required. Two or more years of experience in loan department preferred
- Reputation for excellence in customer service
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, problem solver who shows strong initiative and works quickly and accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and other team members
- Ability to set priorities for completing multiple tasks by set deadlines with minimal guidance
- Knowledge of business correspondence format and ability to draft basic, original correspondence required, professional secretarial experience is helpful
- Proficient in use of PC based products including Word, Excel and Outlook required. Proficiency in using Deposit Pro and/or Laser Pro preferred
