Description
Function: The FNB Internship Program grants students the exciting opportunity to explore the world of Banking and Financial Management. Interns are paid and will be employed for 10 weeks, late May through early August. Interns will be assigned to a department where they will report four days per week to learn the day-to-day operations of that area. One day per week, interns will leave their assigned department to join other interns for a day of professional development opportunities, including: seminars, shadowing, leadership panels, and the opportunity to meet with our Executive Management Team.
Duties:
- Complete all functions and duties of the assigned department.
- Participate in all development activities.
- Abide by all confidentiality requirements.
- Collaborate with interns and other bank employees to complete project(s).
- Contribute to the bank’s overall goals through completion of a Capstone project.
Requirements
Education, Training, and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; Must be a current college student in positive academic standing, preferably at the Junior or Senior level.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills and active listening skills are required for this position.
Must be able to manage time effectively.
Consistently demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
