Description :
The incumbent works under the direct supervision of the Manager of IT. The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the setup, install, repair, and maintenance of PC workstations and peripherals at all First New York locations. Will be responsible for software installs, updates and patches. The incumbent must have excellent organization skills, good attention to details, an ability to follow verbal and written instructions and documentation. Good diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
Duties & Responsibilities
Desktops & Peripherals
- Provide first level response to trouble tickets and calls.
- Provide field level diagnostics, repair or escalation of workstation, peripheral and software related issues
- Equipment Maintenance : Diagnostic - Troubleshoot PC / Printer problems; Advise & repair equipment as necessary; Install new equipment.
- Maintain inventory of common problem parts and accessories as coordinated by the Server / Software Administrator.
- Primary manager of patch and release levels for all workstations and their related third-party software.
- Monitor related bulletins and websites for patches, fixes and vulnerability alerts
- Adding, changing, deleting peripherals.
- Provide for End User support, assistance and isolated training
- Coordinate inventory, maintenance and repair of all related hardware equipment.
- Route and terminate computer cabling as required.
- Recommendations for efficiencies and improvements.
- Provide for Systems Operator backup as needed.
- Closely adhere to First New York information security polices and procedure in the execution of duties.
