What You’ll Do

The Credit Risk Manager will manage a team of commercial credit analysts and underwriters who are responsible for the underwriting of real estate, business, and agriculture credit requests and that provide on-going monitoring of a customer’s performance to the documented terms. In addition, the Credit Risk Manager will meet with various business partners on an ongoing basis to ensure that their needs are being addressed and that the Bank’s risk appetite and policies are being upheld.

Responsibilities Include

  • Manage and support the team’s activities which include spreading, underwriting, monitoring and reporting.
  • Provide consistent and knowledgeable expertise in all lending areas, including real estate, business, and agriculture.
  • Work and coordinate with all stakeholders involved in deals which include members from both the 1st Line of Responsibility and 2nd Line of Responsibility to ensure deadlines and objectives are met
  • Support the Bank’s consistent and efficient usage of its loan origination system (LOS) software
  • Ensure ongoing data integrity of loan portfolio information and recommend corrective actions as identified in a timely manner
  • Ensure a consistent work product that is without errors or omissions
  • Acts as an SME in preparation and implementation of training programs for staff with support of business partners
  • Comply with all applicable Banking compliance rules and regulations established by both internal departments and external agencies

  • Technical Skills – skilled in using moderate to complex software such as spreading software, integrated loan origination systems, bank core systems, and reporting software
  • Compliance – consistently adhere to Bank policies and regulations, reinforce training to ensure that Bank employees are aware of UDAAP and do not harm consumers with any act that could be misleading, unfair, deceptive, or abusive in act or practice

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business-related field of study required
  • Ten years’ related experience and/or training.
  • Experience in C&I, commercial real estate and agricultural lending required
  • Experience in loan workouts preferred
  • Working knowledge and experience in Loan Origination System software
  • Knowledge of credit policy and procedures and loan compliance
  • Experience and understanding of the differences between cash, accrual, and tax accounting
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service

Pay Range (Salary): $140,000.00 - $155,000.00/year
