What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Technician position at First Orion?
First Orion is seeking a candidate for the IT Technician position that reports to IT Lead. The IT Technician ensures that internal users and infrastructure needs are met to allow completion of corporate goals. They will work closely with all staff members to resolve individual and companywide system issues.
What you’ll be doing:
- Internal User Support - equipment ordering, configuration, maintenance, access control, support ticket processing, printers, video conference systems, and other Office technical needs
- Infrastructure- Access Control, Maintenance, Monitoring, and On Call Response to issues
- Documentation and adherence to IT policies, procedures and best practices
- SLA adherence, capacity planning and reporting
- Assist Operational Teams as needed
What you’ll need:
- 3-4 years of experience in a customer support or call center position
- Installing, supporting and troubleshooting Office365 products and other Windows compatible software
- Installing, supporting and troubleshooting Windows and MAC OS endpoints
- Communication and problem solving skills
- Passionate about customer service, good work ethic, ability to identify process improvement and work under
Bonus Points:
- Higher education such as Bachelor’s/Master Degree, or certifications for A , Net , Microsoft Certifications
- Great nice-to-have knowledge/experience with AWS, SQL, Aruba, Surface Hubs, conference systems, knowledge of mainstream mobile device platforms
- Project Manager skills if applicable
