Job Summary
The Medical Assistant at First Person Care Clinic (FPCC) plays a critical role in supporting clinicians and providers by delivering high-quality patient care. This position involves a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including patient preparation, clinical data management, and assisting with procedures. The Medical Assistant ensures smooth operation of the clinic by maintaining exam rooms, managing supplies, and supporting patient care delivery in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, recording patient information, and preparing examination rooms.

Assist with patient intake and documentation under the supervision of senior staff.

Ensure that all clinical areas are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.

Provide support during routine medical procedures.

Perform data entry of patient information into the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system.

Assist with performing EKGs and assisting with minor surgical procedures.

Qualifications
Educations and Experience:

High school Diploma or equivalent required.

At least 1 year of related experience preferred.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred but not required.

Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Work Authorization in the United States required.
Required License:

OLA (Lab License)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving during patient care.

Frequent use of a computer and other office equipment.
Work Environment:

Primarily a clinical setting with exposure to infectious diseases.

Some travel is required for monthly staff meetings, trainings, and between clinic locations as needed.

Ability to move site location if needed based on company requirements.
