Job Summary :
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for managing key financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role involves financial reconciliations, accounts payable management, payroll oversight, and financial analysis to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) , including payment processing and vendor reconciliation, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Oversee payroll and benefits posting , working closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate allocation and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain prepaid expenses and amortization schedules to ensure proper expense recognition.
- Oversee the fixed asset register , including capitalization, depreciation, and asset disposal, in compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage the monthly closing process , including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounts.
- Utilize and maintain ERP systems such as QuickBooks and NetSuite to manage financial data efficiently.
- Administer Concur expense management , reviewing and approving employee expenses for compliance.
- Assist with audits and financial reporting needs , providing accurate analysis to support management decisions.
- Support the VP of Finance with financial analysis, reporting, and insights for strategic decision-making.
- Participate in ad hoc projects , including financial modeling, process improvements, and special analyses as needed.
