Position Overview :
The Scoping Engineer is responsible for assessing technical aspects of telecommunications equipment and services for deployment at assigned sites. This includes site readiness, reviewing construction drawings, installation documents, and customer requirements, and developing the Scope of Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOM). The engineer will use site walks, document reviews, and aerial imagery to create and communicate the SOW to stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop comprehensive SOW and BOM for each site, identifying work types and drivers.
- Provide technical support for construction delivery organizations.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of construction and RF design documents.
- Propose and document site constructability changes.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on build plans, schedules, and scope adjustments.
- Review and approve supplier quotes for material and service requirements.
- Document crane and rigging requirements for site work.
- Participate in project planning meetings and resolve issues as needed.
- Prepare reports and drive stakeholder deliverables for Scoping and BOM preparation.
