GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Work Schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 12pm - 6pm with occasional Friday.
Provides administrative support for Pastors, Operations, and other teams as needed. This role ensures collaboration and effective communication between Staff, Committees, and Friends of First Pres.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support: Provide friendly and welcoming presence while handling calls, emails, and guests accessing the facility. Support Operations with inventory management, facility scheduling, purchasing, and other related tasks.
Data Entry: This position will assist in securing, entering, and managing information in various applications. This would include inventory processes and controls, updating and printing church calendars, and entering accurate member and guest information.
Content Creation: Depending on the specific needs of the church, you will be involved in creating, or helping create weekly bulletins, newsletters, or emails to communicate with church members and staff.
People Partner: Support the functions of Operations and HR in collaboration with our internal processes and external partners.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Computer and Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using various computer software, including spreadsheet, word processing, and church management software is essential. Understanding and using O365 is a requirement for the position. Knowing Canva or other publishing software is desired.
Professional Demeanor: High value is placed in professional interactions when answering calls, doors, greeting visitors, and interacting with staff and members.
Adaptability: Churches often have dynamic and evolving needs, so being adaptable to changing responsibilities is valuable.
