Bookkeeper
Part-time
16 hours per week
This position is accountable to the Pastor as head of staff. The bookkeeper will be responsible for accounting functions of the church including but not limited to accounting, budgeting, payroll, financial reporting and maintenance of financial records.
Responsibilities
- Process payables and receivables
- Monthly bank reconciliations and financial reports
- Ensure the accuracy of accounting processes
- Prepare quarterly and annual donation statements
- Prepare annual stewardship documentation
- Work with session to prepare annual budgets
Skills and qualifications
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online
- Minimum 4 years bookkeeping experience
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Strong sense of integrity and ethical behavior
- Ability to identify and resolve financial issues
- Ability to work effectively with church staff, volunteers, and committees
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
