At First Pres, we are dedicated to welcoming our neighbors into our worshipping community. We're looking for a talented Evangelism Director to join our high collaboration Discipleship team, helping us equip the First Pres congregation to be a family of disciple-makers, with particular emphasis on building evangelism DNA throughout our culture.

Role Overview: 

As the Evangelism Director, you lead the assimilation process at First Pres from Community Member to first time visitor through baptism. Core competencies include Hospitality, High EQ, Servant-Leadership, Administration, Collaboration, and Excellent Ministry Instincts, all brought together through high theological alignment with First Pres and our denomination, ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians.

The Evangelism Director works collaboratively with the staff and congregation. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to build energy and momentum in a core area of church life—evangelism & discipleship—for the advancement of God’s kingdom expanding through First Pres.

Because the right person has been placed within our culture as our Evangelism Director, First Pres members are equipped to live evangelically and visitors feel loved and connected, from their first contact with us through baptism.
