We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator who can provide support for the First Pres Preschool ministry. Specifically, this position works to ensure departmental compliance with the preschool standards and requirements by supporting the Director in all clerical and administrative functions.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Requirements:
- 1 year experience in office administration (project management, etc.).
- Experience working with children in a professional environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and other relevant software.
- Proven experience balancing a workload consisting of long-range projects, ongoing programs, and emergency situations.
Position Requirements:
- Support staff to create a classroom environment that exemplifies best practice early childhood teaching.
- Support staff to create and implement classroom curriculum based on First Pres Preschool guiding principles and yearly program goals.
- Carry out all administrative duties of the position, including prompt response to correspondence, voice mail and email, appointment schedules, completion and filing of required paperwork and records, maintenance of records, purchasing, etc.
- Fulfill all obligations required by the State of Colorado for early childhood program staff and maintain current PDIS database information.
- Assist with events planned for families as requested.
- Facilitate facility usage including: room reservations, work orders (custodial, kitchen, A/V, etc.), check requests, and other administrative support needs.
- Create and maintain records in selected databases.
- Update First Pres Preschool web page and Facebook page as needed.
- Maintain and update tuition and lunch bunch records and deposit checks and cash.
- Send out tuition reminder emails/notes.
- Maintain and update student records.
- Purchase and prepare for staff events including food, and space arrangements as necessary.
- Purchase items for special events and assist with preparation for special events.
- Other duties as requested as applicable to the position or to advance the ministry of First Pres.
