Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (in related field) Required.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a faith-based organization and/or educational background in theology, religious studies or divinity.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with project management or community development.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with volunteer recruiting, coordination and training.
Position Requirements:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local mission’s partners, providing resources, time, and gifts to support their missions while aligning with First Pres values.
- Act as the key connector between congregation members and local mission opportunities, helping members use their skills and gifts effectively in the community.
- Oversee all aspects of the annual “Give Back the Blessing” campaign, ensuring successful planning, execution and allocation of funds.
- Assist the Missions Pastor with events, classes, seasonal engagement projects and administrative tasks as need.
- Regularly assess the health and alignment of relationships with local mission partners and look for new opportunities to enhance First Pres’s community impact.
- Other duties as required to advance the ministry of First Pres.
