Littleton Presbyterian Church is looking for a reliable Office Administrator. The ideal candidate will be very organized and able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for oversight of the church office, coordination of church events and activities, developing and maintaining connections with the community, and weekly accounting assistant tasks. The Office Administrator is the public “face” of the church and thus should have a welcoming and engaging personality. *Responsibilities*
Administration of Daily Office Management
· Perform general administrative duties such as managing emails and blasts, mail, ordering supplies, maintaining the church calendar for meeting rooms
· Compile information, edit and pubish monthly newsletter and weekly Sunday worship bulletins
· Maintain the church congregation database records
· Maintain files of church contracts agreement/contracts and payments for outside groups
· Act as first point of contact for members/visitors who are inquiring about facility rental, weddings, funerals, and the Memorial Columbarium
· Work with inside groups on major event coordination
· Provide support and resources for Pastors, Session, Deacons, and other committees
Finance/Accounting Support
· Process and deposit contributions on Monday Morning
· Record contributions in Subsplash and in general ledger and send out quarterly giving statements
· Process Payroll for employees
· Record and process accounts payable checks each week using accounting software and prepare checks for signature by authorized signers
· Maintain accounting files (including hard copy filing and digital information in QuickBooks) and prepare reports, as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
