What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Preschool Teacher (Begin Aug 2025) position at First Presbyterian Church?
This position is for our three year old Half-Day program. Assistant teacher hours are 7:30am-12:30 Monday through Friday with additional opportunities to work in our Extended Day Program. This person should be knowledgeable about child development and early childhood education. He or she must be a nurturing and mature individual who is able to relate well to both children and adults.
Requirements: Medical Exam, Criminal Background Check and Fingerprinting, Maltreatment Check, 2 Letters of Recommendation, Resume, Proof of Negative TB Test, On-line Pre-service and Child Abuse/Neglect Training, CPR Certification, copy of diploma or transcripts (if applicable).
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
