About the Role: As Church Business Administrator, you will be the central hub of our church's administrative functions, working closely with the pastoral team, church leadership, and staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all church activities. You will play a key role in supporting our mission by providing strategic oversight and hands-on management in the following areas:
- Financial Operations: Oversee all accounting and financial activities of the church, including deposits, payables, contribution credits, pledges, and monthly financial statements; assist with annual stewardship campaign and creation of annual budget.
- Human Resources: Responsible for all aspect of HR management including payroll, onboarding and offboarding staff, maintaining employee handbook and other related documents, and ensuring compliance with current labor laws.
- Communications: Oversee coordination of church communications; produce and issue weekly enews and input Sunday “Life of the Church”
- Facilities: With Facilities Manager, ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and grounds and efficient coordination of all church use
- Management: Supervise the work of the following positions: Facilities Manager, Administrative Assistant, Media Arts Coordinator, Outside Bookkeeper, and Kitchen Liaison.

Skills and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited college/university or comparable experience; major in business administration, organizational management, accounting/finance, or Human Resource management preferred
- Knowledge of accepted practices in the areas of accounting, human resource management, and operations/general office management required
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite required, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with bookkeeping software required; experience with QuickBooks Online highly desired
- Supervisory experience required
