Duties
- Develop and execute loss prevention strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Oversee surveillance operations, including the management and maintenance of CCTV systems.
- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of theft or fraud, documenting findings through detailed report writing.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary to address criminal activities affecting the organization.
- Train and mentor staff on loss prevention protocols, conflict management techniques, and emergency response procedures.
- Analyze data related to loss incidents to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and company policies regarding loss prevention.
- Lead crisis management efforts during security breaches or emergencies.
Experience
- Proven experience in loss prevention or security management within a retail or corporate environment.
- Background in law enforcement or criminal investigation is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in report writing and documentation practices.
- Familiarity with surveillance technologies, including CCTV systems.
- Certification in loss prevention or related fields is a plus.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a focus on security objectives.
