Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LMHC, LMFT or LCSW to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in providing mental health services, particularly in pediatric settings. This role involves working closely with individuals and families to assess needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver effective therapeutic interventions. They will play a crucial role in promoting mental well-being and supporting clients through various challenges.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Implement crisis management strategies to support clients in acute situations.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and coding in compliance with ICD-9 standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for clients.
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques for clients requiring specialized interventions.
- Engage in special education advocacy as needed for clients with unique educational requirements.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to meet evolving needs.
Skills
- Proficiency in Psychotherapy techniques and approaches.
- Strong background in Individual group counseling methodologies.
- Experience in Crisis management, particularly within pediatric populations.
- Familiarity with coding practices related to medical documentation.
- Knowledge of Behavioral therapy principles and their application in clinical settings.
- Understanding of special education processes and resources available for children with disabilities.
- Ability to apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) effectively within therapeutic contexts.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
