Human Resources Manager

Job Summary

A Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process. Reports to CEO and General Manger and supports CFO. Performs Risk Manager duties.

Essential Functions

Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems

Provide counseling on policies and procedures

Be actively involved in recruitment, hiring, and terminating

Create and implement effective onboarding plans, policies, and procedures

Assist in performance management processes

Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues

Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements

Prepare and submit compliance reports (OSHA, ACA, ERISA, TASC, etc)

Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

Manage safety program and driver compliance

Benefits, 401k, and Liability Insurance analysis, implementation, compliance, and invoicing

Manage worker’s compensation claims and FMLA leaves through all phases

Payroll processing and deductions

Requirements and Skills

• Experience as HR officer, administratoror other HR position
• Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
• Self-driven
• Strong ethics and reliability
• BSc/BA in business administration or other HR Credentials a plus

Pay: $850.00 - $1,000.00 per week
