What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift operator position at First Quality?
We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators for our First Quality Baby Products sitelocated in Macon, GA.
Staring pay rate for this position is $20 / hour.
Primary responsibilities include :
Operate forklifts with various attachments.
Work in a fast paced, quality and safety focused team environment.
Calculate accurate tallies and documentation during the loading and unloading process
Operate a Radio Frequency Gun
Observe all safety rules, including GMP regulations / guidelines; maintain quality standards for the product, and perform other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
Physical requirements include :
Frequent walking and standing for a 12-hour period
Must be able to lift / carry up to 50 lbs
Daily sweeping and organizing work area
Ability to operate and forklift
In order to be considered for this position, you must :
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
Be able to work a 12 hour shift - night shift hours may be required
Have at least 18 months of experience operating a forklift
Have at least three years of continuous work experience. Less than three years will require referral from a current First Quality team member
